Why Visit Big Bear Lake?

Big Bear Lake hosts tourists all year long. We have 4 great seasons.

WINTER Ski and Snowboard season is late November through mid March.
SPRING Hiking season starts in April. Did you know you can hike the Pacific Crest Trail from Big Bear to Mexico or Canada?
SUMMER The ski resort has chairlift mountain biking. There are many other cross country trails for hiking or biking. Watersports on the lake are great between June and September. Boat tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing.
FALL Many Summer activities continue until the weather gets cold in November. Hiking is amazing from September to November as the leaves turn yellow and orange and daytime temps are often still in the 60s F.
